Traveling on 299 through the winter can be daunting, but The Rock Slide is a warm flame on the side of the road. I stopped by hoping they served food at 3pm, they did. “ I am trying all their food ,mushrooms fried were crisp hot with great clean oil ,the mushrooms tasted yum!I got Sweet Potato Fries with blue cheese dip and. A Margarita!Great 20 spend!with tip,made my day,back to cleaning the chix coop after that,made it that much more enjoyable,they make sandwiches to order and burgers ,get grilled onions on the burger and a fried egg. ”
